Waist beads are a traditional African accessory that consist of small glass beads on a string or wire worn around the waist or hips. They come in different colors and shapes and may also include decorative stones, crystals, or charms.

Waist beads have been worn for centuries by women in West African culture. In more recent years they have gained popularity among women in the West. They are also referred to as belly beads, or beaded waist chains, etc.

Khatalyst Collection offers handmade “tie-on" beads also referred to as permanent. Here You will find a grand selection of handmade waist beads originating from Ghana and Nigeria and America.

Tie on strands are intended to be worn all day everyday. Rest assured you may comfortably perform daily activities such as  beauty rest, showering, exercise, swimming , intimacy, etc. Tie on waist beads are strung on thread with no clasp. Since the strands are tie-on they cannot be removed until you cut them off or you part ways with them, however that may manifest for you. Once tied on securely they become second skin being a beautiful intimate extension of your truest you! & you live your best life in them!

Women of all shapes and sizes can confidently adorn themselves with waist beads as well. We carry strands up to 45-50inches that are sized down to fit your waist when tying them on, allowing for all women to comfortably wear waist beads no matter their size.  

 

Can I shower with them on?

Can I wear multiple strands at the same time?

Yes Goddess! ABSOLUTELY YES! You can layer them for a beautiful dynamic approach. We love and encourage layering/ stacking them as it has always been my personal preference to wear multiple strands. We typically recommend a minimum of 3 for balance. The benefits of multiple strands outside of the beautiful aesthetic of it is that you can address the different sections of your abdomen simultaneously. It is believed that the practice of wearing multiple waist beads over time will help to keep the waist small which accentuates the hips. However, It is your personal journey. You will decide how many strands you adorn yourself with. Treat yourself!

**Waist Beads:**
Due to the intimate nature of waist beads, we do not accept returns. However, we understand that circumstances may vary, and exchanges may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our customer service within 14 days of receiving your order to discuss your specific situation.

**Crystals:**
For crystal orders, returns or exchanges are accepted. To qualify, crystals must be in the same physical condition as when they were received. Please initiate the return process within 14 days of receiving your crystal order. Once the return is approved, you will receive store credit for the returned items.

**How to Initiate a Return or Exchange:**
1. Contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order.
2. Provide your order number and details about the item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
3. For waist beads, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.
4. For crystals, we will guide you through the return process, and upon inspection, you will receive store credit for qualifying items.

**Note:**
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
- Returns must be shipped back in the original packaging.
- Once the return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Store credit will be issued for qualifying returns and can be used for future purchases.
